ABOUT THE WINE
Founded in 1977 by visionary entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti, Bellavista has become one of the leading and most respected estates in Franciacorta, Lombardy. Located on the scenic Bellavista hill in Erbusco, the estate spans over 200 hectares of vineyards planted on morainic soils rich in limestone and minerals — ideal for producing elegant Metodo Classico sparkling wines. Alma Gran Cuvée Brut is the flagship non-vintage cuvée, embodying the soul of Franciacorta. It is traditionally composed of approximately 86-88% Chardonnay, 11-13% Pinot Nero, and 1% Pinot Bianco, with about 30 months of ageing on lees and a dosage around 5 g/L. This refined sparkling wine displays a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet is ample and elegant, offering ripe pear, green apple, white peach, citrus, acacia flowers, and delicate notes of brioche and almond. On the palate, it is creamy yet vibrant, with bright acidity, mineral freshness, and a long, harmonious finish. A sophisticated Italian sparkling wine perfect for aperitifs, seafood, or special celebrations.
