ABOUT THE WINE
The 2019 Tuscan Brunello di Montalcino crafted from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in Montalcino’s clay and limestone soils. Produced by the family-run Pietroso estate, it undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts and ages for 36 months in large Slavonian oak casks, followed by six months in bottle. This vintage offers a vibrant ruby-to-garnet hue, with aromas of ripe red cherries, leather, tobacco, and subtle vanilla. On the palate, it delivers a robust structure with firm, refined tannins, lively acidity, and flavors of dark fruit and dried herbs, culminating in a long, elegant finish.
