ABOUT THE WINE
La Spinetta is a family-owned winery located in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy. The winery was founded in 1977 by Giuseppe and Lidia Rivetti, and today it is run by their three sons: Carlo, Bruno, and Giorgio. La Spinetta's vineyards cover a total of 165 hectares, with most of the vines located in the Langhe area. The winery produces a wide range of wines, including Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera d'Alba, Moscato d'Asti, and various white wines.
The adventure in the world of Barbaresco began with the purchase of the prestigious Gallina vineyard in 1995. Gallina allows to produce wines that are refined with great elegance; these are sensual wines with surprising longevity, characterized by intense floral aromas, combined with delicate notes of eucalyptus and mint.
TASTING NOTE:
Color: light ruby red
Bouquet: hints of cinnamon, cherries under spirits and chalk
Taste: mineral, spicy and balsamic, with a wide and lonf finish. Tannins are soft and well-marked
