Le Ragnaie Brunello di Montalcino 2019, an elegant Sangiovese Grosso from Tuscany's Montalcino hills, embodies the estate's high-altitude terroir philosophy. Founded in 2002 by Riccardo Campinoti and his wife Jennifer in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, the 15-hectare organic domaine. This fosters fresh, mineral-driven expressions over power, with minimal extraction and biodynamic touches. Tasting notes reveal a brilliant ruby hue with a perfumed lift of blue flower, redcurrant, cranberry, potting soil, and dusty rose, edged by baking spice and wild herbs. Medium-bodied and silky, it glides across the palate with tart wild berries, vibrant acidity, glossy tannins, and rosy floral depth, unfolding into a mineral-laced, savory finish with exotic spice echoes.
