Fat & Sassy Chardonnay is a vibrant, full-bodied white wine from New Zealand’s premier Chardonnay specialist, Tony Bish, crafted in response to the challenges of Cyclone Gabrielle, which devastated Hawke’s Bay’s 2023 grape crop. This unique vintage blends 75% Marlborough and 25% Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay, primarily Clone 15 and Mendoza, sourced from the Bridge Pa Triangle and Marlborough vineyards. it delivers a creamy, toasty profile with bright aromas of golden peach, mango, pineapple, and roasted hazelnut, complemented by a palate of ripe stone fruit, red apple, and citrus, with lively acidity and a sassy, nutty finish.
