ABOUT THE WINE

Logan is a family owned and operated winery in the NSW Central Ranges area (that’s Orange and Mudgee) of which Peter Logan is the owner and head winemaker. Their grapes in Orange are amongst the coolest grown in the country, sitting at 1000 metres above sea level on an extinct volcano, Mt Canobolas. Cool to cold temperatures, long slow ripening, plenty of sunshine and ancient volcanic soil provide a particular terrior for pinot noir, pinot gris, riesling, chardonnay and other grapes, including elegant spicy shiraz. Being 400 metres lower than Orange, the neighbouring region of Mudgee has a climate characterised by warm days and cool to cold nights in the growing season, while the soils are ironstone and quartz laced gravelly loam, conditions great for growing shiraz and tempranillo with character and depth.
Logan Clementine Blushing Minnie is a vibrant, light-bodied red wine from the Central Ranges of New South Wales, Australia, specifically from the Orange and Mudgee regions. Produced by Logan Wines, it’s part of their Clementine range, named after the winemaker Peter Logan’s daughter, Clementine “Minnie” Logan, reflecting a playful and expressive character..

TASTING NOTE:

Aromas of red and dark berries, plums, and spice. Flavors of cherry, red plum, raspberry, and a hint of soft, drying tannins on the finish. Distinctive due to whole bunch fermentation, offering crunchy, salty, and tangy characteristics.
