Château Bégadan is a family-owned estate in the heart of Médoc, in the commune of Bégadan, passed down through generations of the Sallette family. Spanning ~27-28 hectares on gravel and clay-limestone soils, it holds High Environmental Value Level 3 certification and blends tradition with modern techniques for quality-driven wines. Blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot (vines avg. 20+ years old). Traditional vinification with low yields, hand sorting; aged in oak barrels for roundness and finesse. Alcohol ~13%. Deep ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits (cassis, plum), subtle oak, and earthy notes. Round, balanced palate with fine tannins, generous blackberry flavors, smooth texture, and fresh finish.
