Domaine Lecheneaut Nuits-Saint-Georges 2022, a quintessential Pinot Noir from Burgundy's revered Côte de Nuits, flows from a family saga rooted in the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Founded in the late 1950s by Fernand Lecheneaut with just 2.5 hectares across Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and Morey-Saint-Denis, the estate has flourished under sons Philippe and Vincent since 1985, now spanning 10 hectares across 18 appellations. Tasting notes burst with a vivid ruby hue and an alluring bouquet of black cherry, wild raspberry, violet, and damp earth, edged by hints of baking spice and sandalwood. Medium- to full-bodied, it seduces with velvety tannins, juicy red fruits, and a touch of mocha, balanced by bright acidity and mineral snap, leading to a persistent, savory finish laced with graphite and herb.
