Lou Dumont Bourgogne Blanc 2022, a radiant Chardonnay from Burgundy's versatile regional appellation, hails from the esteemed négociant house founded in 2000 by Japanese sommelier Koji Nakada and his Korean wife Jae Hwa Park in Gevrey-Chambertin. The domaine blends multicultural precision with Burgundian tradition, sourcing grapes from sustainable, hand-harvested partner vineyards across the Côte d'Or and beyond. Since acquiring their first parcels in 2012. Tasting notes reveal a brilliant straw-gold hue with an enticing nose of ripe pear, green apple, white peach, and lemon zest, woven with floral honeysuckle, acacia, and a whisper of wet stone minerality. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with silky texture, zesty acidity, and flavors of citrus confit, crisp Granny Smith, almond pastry, and subtle brioche, unfolding into a long, saline finish with chalky grip.
