ABOUT THE WINE
Crémant de Bourgogne is a sophisticated sparkling wine from the Burgundy-based estate of Kuheiji Kuno, a Japanese sake brewer who, since 2013, has applied his terroir-driven philosophy to winemaking in Morey-Saint-Denis. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the Yonne in northern Burgundy and the Côte-d’Or in the central region, this non-vintage Crémant is produced using the traditional méthode traditionnelle, with a minimum of 18 months of aging to develop fine, creamy bubbles. Its pale, pearly hue, typical of a Blanc de Noirs, carries a faint rosy tint, revealing vibrant aromas of red berries, citrus, and white flowers, followed by a powerful, wine-like palate with balanced acidity and rich fruitiness.
