ABOUT THE WINE
Casa Rojo is a dynamic, innovative winery founded in 2009 by enologists José Luis Gómez and Laura Muñoz in Murcia, Spain. Known for creative labels and terroir-driven wines, they craft expressive varietal wines across multiple Spanish DOs, including Rueda, with a focus on passion, balance, and native grapes. 100% Verdejo from ~30-year-old organic vineyards in gravelly-sandy soils of Olmedo, Valdestillas, and Segovia (DO Rueda). Straw yellow with green hues. Intense aromas of citrus, white/stone fruits (pear, peach), herbs, fennel, and tropical hints. Full-bodied yet fresh, with creamy texture, balanced acidity, minerality, and a long, elegant finish.
