The winery is named after its founder, Elvio Cogno, who was a legendary winemaker and a key figure in the renaissance of the Barolo region in the 1960s and 1970s. Today, Elvio Cogno is run by Valter Fissore, Elvio's son-in-law, who has continued the winery's tradition of producing exceptional wines. The winery owns several vineyards in the Langhe, including some of the most prestigious sites in the region, such as Ravera and Bricco Pernice. The Nascetta grape is known for producing aromatic and refreshing wines with flavors of citrus and tropical fruit. Cogno Anas Cetta Langhe 2019 is no exception.
Pale yellow color and aromas of lemon, grapefruit, and tropical fruits like pineapple and mango. On the palate, this wine is crisp and refreshing, with a balanced acidity and a dry finish.
Cogno Anas Cetta Langhe 2019 is a great wine to pair with light and fresh dishes. It pairs particularly well with seafood dishes, such as grilled shrimp or scallops, as well as salads with citrus-based dressings.
