ABOUT THE WINE
Domaine Lecheneaut is a family-owned winery located in the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy, France. The winery was established in 1976 by brothers Philippe and Vincent Lecheneaut, who inherited vineyards from their father. Today, the winery is run by Vincent's son, Nicolas, who continues the family tradition of producing high-quality wines.
The Gevrey-Chambertin appellation is known for producing robust and complex red wines, and Domaine Lecheneaut's Gevrey Chambertin is no exception.
TASTING NOTE:
This wine has a deep ruby color with aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a silky texture and flavors of ripe red fruit, black tea, and a subtle hint of oak. The wine has a long and elegant finish with a good balance of acidity and tannins.
