ABOUT THE WINE
Domaine Lecheneaut is a family-owned winery located in the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy, France. The winery was established in 1976 by brothers Philippe and Vincent Lecheneaut, who inherited vineyards from their father. Today, the winery is run by Vincent's son, Nicolas, who continues the family tradition of producing high-quality wines.
The 1er Cru Les Damodes wine is produced from grapes grown in the Les Damodes vineyard, which is located in the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation. The vineyard is known for its limestone-rich soils, which contribute to the wine's minerality and structure.
TASTING NOTE:
Wines from Les Damodes often exhibit aromas of dark berries, cherries, violets, and earthy undertones. On the palate, they can display a combination of fruit flavors, refined tannins, and a long, lingering finish.
