ABOUT THE WINE

Borgogno is an Italian winery located in the Piedmont region, specifically in the town of Barolo. The winery was founded by Bartolomeo Borgogno in 1761, making it one of the oldest wineries in the region. Borgogno is known for its traditional Barolo wines, which are made from the Nebbiolo grape variety and aged for several years before release. Le Teorie (Theories): Hand-designed labels for the latest vintage of Barolo classico DOCG, all created by Oscar Farinetti, first as illustrations of everyday life through irony, logic. math and philosophy as a note on napkin and now available as a limited-edition wine collection.

TASTING NOTE:

The 2017 vintage was an excellent year for Barolo, producing wines with great structure, depth, and aging potential. Borgogno Le Teorie Barolo 2017 is characterized by its deep garnet color, complex aromas of red and black fruit, spices, and tobacco, and its firm tannic structure.

FOOD PAIRING:

Borgogno Le Teorie Barolo 2017 pairs well with rich, full-flavored dishes like beef, lamb, or game, as well as truffles, mushrooms, and aged cheeses.
